INTRODUCTION The restricted use of chlorofluoroalkanes in refrigeration equipment has affected the selection, application and installation of refrigeration equipment to constrain the production and consumption of chlorofluoroalkanes with the aim of deterring their depletion of ozone and consequent environmental hazards.
