“,”Objective:To explore the clinical effect of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) drugs combined with compound trabeculectomy and pan retinal photocoagulation (PRP) in the treatment of neovascular glaucoma.Methods:Fifty-six patients (56 eyes) with neovascular glaucoma admitted to Pingdingshan First People’s Hospital from March 2016 to February 2019 were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the observation group (n n=29, 29 eyes) and the control group (n n=27, 27 eyes). The control group was treated with anti-VEGF drugs combined with compound trabeculectomy, and the observation group was treated with PRP treatment on the basis of the control group. The intraocular pressure before and 1 week and 3 months after the operation, the visual acuity, iris neovascularization 3 months after operation, functional filtering blebs and complications were compared.n Results:One week and three months after operation, the intraocular pressures of the two groups were lower than those before operation, and the intraocular pressure of the observation group was lower than that of the control group 3 months after operation, the difference was not statistically significant (n P0.05). Three months after operation, the incidence of functional filtering blebs in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (62.07%n vs 26.63%), the difference was not statistically significant ( n P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (24.14%n vs 55.56%), the difference was not statistically significant ( n P<0.05).n Conclusions:The combination of anti-VEGF drugs with trabeculectomy and PRP is effective in treating neovascular glaucoma, which can effectively control intraocular pressure and reduce complications.
