The colonization of modern Chinese literature is difficult to eradicate with the founding of New China. With the addition of new forms of cultural colonization and momentum invasion, contemporary literature still shoulders the decolonization task after its founding. As an integral part of national literature, the translated literature of “Seventeen Years” shows strong features of decolonization: the alliance with the newly independent nations in the Soviet Union and Asia and Africa has strengthened their own strength in the struggle against colonialism; Restrictions on the powerful British and American literature and the excavation and presentation of their internal revolt have strongly supported their own intention of decolonization. However, the demand for decolonization in translation literature has also brought a lot of negative effects, such as the subjectivity of the subjectivity, the “prescriptiveness” of the translation choice, and the lack of translation of classical European and American literature.
