佛教是中国传统文化的三大宗教之一,在古代的皇家很受重视,寺院的形制及布局十分有讲究,很多都是仿造皇家建筑风格和防卫来安排。通常的寺院是坐北朝南,三门向南开,但也有说法,寺院不能太正对南向,有点偏东或偏西的那种向南方向。布局基本上是天王殿,中间供奉弥勒菩萨,以布袋笑弥勒见多。四天王左东南、右西北(以弥勒为准,左即东方)。本文主要对中国寺院的形制及布局特点进行分析。
Buddhism is one of the three major religions of Chinese traditional culture. The ancient imperialism was very much valued. The shape and layout of monasteries are very particular. Many of them are imitations of royal architectural styles and defensive arrangements. The usual monasteries are north-south and three-door south, but there is also a saying that the monastery should not be too south-facing or slightly east-facing or west-facing.
