鄯善县民政局,作为该县“双拥”工作的主要组织、协调、实施部门,多年来,用真情浇注“双拥”花,不但使这朵花常开不谢,而且结出了累累果实:鄯善县多次被自治区党委、政府、新疆军区命名为民族团结进步、军民团结双拥模范县和人武工作先进县及全国爱心献功臣先进县。2006年民政局也被自治区表彰为双拥先进单位。
