To understand the effect of plateau on left ventricular function, cardiac contractile interval (STI) was measured in settlers at 4,500 and 2,800 meters above sea level. The results showed that there was no significant difference in heart rate between migrants and plain controls, but the preemergence period (PEP) was prolonged, the left ventricular ejection time (LVET) was shortened, and the ratio of ejection duration to left ventricular ejection time (PEP / LVET) increased, the total mechanical contraction (QS_2) no significant change. It is speculated that the change of STI is related to the decrease of left ventricular preload and the increase of postload.
