Objective: To explore the treatment of idiopathic pupil membrane closure and cataract complications after the treatment of traditional Chinese and western medicine, and to observe the curative effect. Methods: From April 2012 to March 2014, 76 patients (102 eyes) with ipsilateral cycloplegia and cataract complications were included in the study. They were randomly divided into observation group and control group Group, two groups of patients were given surgical treatment, and postoperative given anti-inflammatory, hemostasis, anti-infective, oral hormones and other conventional symptomatic treatment, postoperative observation group patients based on the patient’s condition to give Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation treatment, two groups of patients The clinical symptoms, signs and visual acuity and other indicators, and the patients were followed up for six months statistical rate of recurrence, the treatment effect of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results: There was no significant difference in corrected visual acuity between the two groups before treatment (P> 0.05). After treatment, the corrected visual acuity was improved in both groups (P <0.05), but the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05) (P <0.05). After treatment, the cure rate and total effective rate in observation group were 73.08% and 90.38%, respectively. The cure rate and total effective rate in control group were 54.00% , 78.00% respectively. The cure rate and total effective rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group respectively, with significant differences (P <0.05). In the observation group, there were 7 cases of postoperative complications and 5 cases of recurrence. The adverse reaction rate was 13.46% and the recurrence rate was 9.62%. In the control group, 16 cases were postoperative complications and 12 cases were relapsed. The adverse reaction rate was 32.00% and the recurrence rate was 24.00% The incidence of postoperative complications and recurrence rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: The combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine for the treatment of iridocyclophthalmitis occurred after pupil membrane closure and cataract complications, the exact clinical efficacy, so as to provide new ideas and basis for its treatment, is worthy of clinical promotion.
