Cytological examination is one of the most important diagnostic tools in the daily work of pathology department. The traditional Papanicolaou staining requires many reagents and the procedure is complicated (23 steps). It is also time-consuming to replace HE routine staining (15 steps). Useful paper for rapid cytological staining. In order to meet the patient’s rapid diagnostic requirements, the use of simplified HE heating rapid staining, the effect is quite good. From January 1987 to February 1999, we performed cytological rapid staining of 4667 endoscopic biopsies of the digestive tract.
