One of the characteristics of the social-democratic movement in Eastern Europe today is that the forces in the camp of the left are hardly twisted into one strand. The fierce internal disputes and the prominent conflicts among the factions disproportionately affect the ability and fighting capability of the left and can not jointly dominate the political life of the country . The contradictions of the social democrats prior to 1996 were mainly manifested in the relations between the new and old Socialist parties. Since then, they have not only the division of pragmatism in their political operations, but also their dispute over the power of parliamentary democracy with old system imprints. Differences in the ideological program. With the gradual maturity of the Social Democratic Party in Eastern Europe, the composition of the bordering disputes in the leftist camp will decrease in the future and gradually form a left-wing and a right-wing society with a clear distinction. The difference concentrates on the ruling agenda and major policies and principles and will develop in a direction similar to that of the West European Socialist Party .
