Bemisia tabaci Bemisia tabaci is a complex species that has the characteristics of biological differentiation, strong ability of virus transmission and resistance, rapid reproduction rate and other characteristics, making it one of the important pests in agricultural production in our country. In this study, the cytochrome mitochondrial oxidase Ⅰ gene was used to identify the biotypes of Bemisia tabaci collected from Jiangsu, Guangdong and Yunnan provinces and the relationship between the biotype and the host plants of Bemisia tabaci was investigated. The results showed that both unidentified indigenous populations and invaded type B and Q coexisted in both Guangdong and Yunnan provinces. At the same time, Q type B. tabaci had not been collected in Guangdong Province in this study, The whitefly samples were all invaded. The results also show that indigenous populations show greater host plant tropism relative to invasive species; abundant host plants and their own polyphagous properties contribute to the development of type B, Q and other biotypes around the world Extensive invasion.
