研究了距离图G(Z, D)的L(2, 1)-标号着色数λ(G(Z, D)). 对一般的有限距离集D, 证明了2|D|+2≤λ(G(Z, D))≤|D|2+3|D|. 此外, 当D由2个互素正奇数构成时, 有λ(G(Z, D))≤8的结论. 最后引入了一个新的概念对一些特殊距离图的λ(G)上界进行了研究, 对于这些距离图,λ(G)的上界可以改进到7.
