《普通高中英语课程标准》把阅读技能目标描述为:朗读各种文体、英语诗词、报纸杂志、原著及各种商品说明书等非专业技术性资料并理解大意。根据情境……来猜测生词及词组的意思,分析句子结构、理解句子,理顺事情发生顺序、人物行为等。进而培养良好的阅读习惯、阅读策略,形成阅读兴趣,最终提高阅读能力。据此,高中英语教师必须对英语阅读教学投入更大的关注,探究与完善高中英语阅读教学课的教学模式,提高高中英语阅读教学的有效性。
