甜高粱是普通高粱的一个变种,以其茎秆中含有丰富的糖分为特点,具有多种用途。子粒可食用、饲用、酿造用,茎秆可作制糖、酿酒(酒精)、酿醋、造纸的原料,青贮可作牲畜的饲草饲料,所以被人们称为“三元作物”。近年来,甜高粱在我国发展较快,特别是在北京、天津、河南等省市已成为一种重要的饲料作物被广泛利用。现将栽培技术要点介绍如下。
