某段文献形式能否作为某成语的语源，这取决于两个方面：它与成语是否存在同一性，它在书面文献记载中是否出现最早。而双方是否具有同一性则是判断文献形式能不能作为成语语源的先决条件。同一性指文献形式和成语在所指上相同或基本相同，它既表现在字面上，也表现在意义方面。
Whether a certain document form can serve as the etymology of a certain idiom depends on two aspects: whether it has identity with the idiom or not, and whether it appears earliest in the written record. Whether the two parties have identity or not is the prerequisite for judging whether the document form can serve as the source of idioms. Identity refers to the same or substantially the same reference to both forms of documentation and idioms, both literally and in meaning.
