普通万能外圆磨床是不能磨椭圆工件的。我们设计制造了一个简单的磨椭圆夹具,安装在M1420外圆磨床上,就能对外径在160mm以内的各种内燃机活塞进行椭圆磨削,光洁度可达8~9,尺寸精度符合图纸要求。磨椭圆夹具不仅扩大了原磨床的使用范围,而且还具有结构简单、制造容易、性能稳定、工作可靠等优点。使用时只要把磨床头架和尾架拆下,将此磨夹具装上就行了,不再作任何改动。结构如图1,传动系统如图3。一、工作原理如图1所示,主轴Ⅰ与工件同轴转动,它与偏心轴Ⅲ的传动比为2:1。磨夹具和电动机(图中未表示出)的自重使偏心轮始终与固定在工作台上的导轮紧密地接触。当主轴Ⅰ连同工件旋转时,偏心轮就会以
Ordinary universal cylindrical grinder can not be polished oval workpiece.
