与比较文学的发轫同步的形象学,经历了由传统向当代的转变。在不同发展阶段,形象学对“异国形象”的理解完全不同。传统形象学认为,异国形象是对客体的再现,即对现实中的作为被关注者的异国的反映和表现。而当代形象学则认为,异国形象是主体的建构,是由作为注视者的作家及其所处的民族、国家、文化等的合力创造。
Imageology, which is in sync with the development of comparative literature, has undergone a transformation from traditional to contemporary. In different stages of development, the understanding of “image of an exotic country ” is completely different. Traditional imageology holds that the exotic image is the reproduction of the object, that is, the reflection and expression of the exotic countries who are the followers in reality. However, contemporary imageology believes that the foreign image is the construction of the subject, which is created by the combination of the writer who is the watcher and the nation, country and culture in which he lives.
