绿豆是我县重要秋作物之一,全县常年种植10万亩左石.占秋粮的10％以上。1984年我们引种了中国农科院品资所从国外引进的绿豆新品种-D0809,经两年春夏季连续品试、示范和大面积推广,D0809产量均居首位,且综合性状好,株型紧凑,早熟高产,粒大粒光,是发展绿豆生产、打开绿豆国际市场的一个理想品种。1985年就地春繁、地膜覆盖、加速繁殖D0809在全县岗坡丘陵、沿河平原和砂磋黑土三个不同生态类型区试验。仅有3.75公斤原种,种植4,5亩地,收获650公斤,平均单产151.5公斤,并采取边成熟、边摘收、边脱粒、边播种就地繁殖的办法,在7月5日先后播种夏绿豆180亩,共收种子12.150公斤,首创了建县以来最高纪录。
