中药行业与其他行业相比,现代化程度还明显落后,尤其中药剂型改革的步伐还相当缓慢,中成药的制作大都没有严格的量化和质量指标,包装也没有严格的统一标准,极大地阻碍了我国中成药走向世界的进程。据有关部门统计,目前全球中草药市场年销售额为160亿美元,中国仅占3%,出口额为5.89亿美元,其中药材出口额为4.65亿美元,在有限的份额中还以初级品原料出口为主,这与中国具有5000多年历史的中药王国的地位极不相称。但只要我们共同努力,在《中药现代科技产业行动计划》纲领的指导下,不断在基础研究方面取得进展、制定出国际认可的中药标准、获得GMP认证、选适销对路的中药产品,按照国际中药市场营销的特点,努力开拓国际市场,那么,中药这一古老的中华瑰宝必将大放异彩,在世界取得应有的地位。

However, as long as we make joint efforts, we will make continuous progress in basic research under the guidance of the program of “Modern Science and Technology Industry Action Plan of Chinese Medicine Industry”, establish an internationally recognized Chinese medicine standard, obtain GMP certification, choose a marketable traditional Chinese medicine product, Chinese medicine marketing features, and strive to open up the international market, then, the ancient Chinese medicine treasures will shine, in the world to obtain its due position.
