德都县位于黑龙江省北部,黑河地区南部,北纬48°16′—49°12°,东经125°42′—127°39′之间,横跨四、五、六,三个积温带。海拔高度300—350米左右,属小兴安岭向松嫩平原的过渡带。土壤为黑土和草甸黑土,黑土层一般为20—30厘米,0—20厘米耕层有机质含量5—7％。全氮0.2—0.35％,全磷0.17—0.21％,全钾2％左右;水鲜氮5—8毫克,速效磷4—6毫克,速效钾15—35毫克,pH值在6左右,土质比较肥沃。
