在旅美大陆华人学者对于中国现代文学主体性的学科建构中,张旭东以其对“文化政治”的论述和对中国现代文学现代性的反思与建构而具有特别的意义。首先,张旭东将“文化政治”视为现代性的核心,并透过这一概念,在普通与特殊、自我与他者的关系中重新思考主体性的呈现的问题,从而为处于西方现代性的“话语秩序”之中的中国文化和文学现代性如何穿透性地重新确立自身的普通性和主体性确立了基本的方法论;其次,张旭东透过对五四激进阐释学的重新阐释,考察文化政治的逻辑与中国现代性之间的关系,重建革命与五四之间的内在关联;再次,以对鲁迅的重新解读为中心,张旭东通过重新界定鲁迅的“文学性”的内涵,重建鲁迅的写作在文学性与政治性之间的关联,从而为打破西方现代性的话语秩序,理解中国现代文学的主体性打开了可能性的空间,并提供了方法论和具体的实践。
In the discipline construction of the subjectivity of Chinese modern literature, Zhang Xudong has its special significance in his discourse on “Cultural Politics” and in the reflection and construction of the modernity of Chinese modern literature. First of all, Zhang Xudong regards “cultural politics” as the core of modernity. With this concept, he revisits the question of subjectivity in the relations between the ordinary and the special, the ego and the other, Second, Zhang Xudong through the May Fourth radical hermeneutics re-readjustment of the May Fourth Movement Interpret and examine the relationship between the logic of cultural politics and the modernity of China and reconstruct the internal relations between the revolution and the May 4th Movement. Thirdly, based on the reinterpretation of Lu Xun, Zhang Xudong redefined Lu Xun’s literary nature, , Reconstructing the connection between Lu Xun’s writing and literature and politics, thus opening up the possibility space for breaking the discourse order of Western modernity and understanding the subjectivity of modern Chinese literature, and provided methodology and concrete practice .
