潇湘水电枢纽工程闸坝地基岩性软弱,力学性能较低,具有失水龟裂,暴露地表极易风化,厂房置于软弱岩层及溶岩发育的灰岩交接处,土坝地基为具有极强渗漏性的砂卵砾石层,厚达11.7~17.8m。土坝左岸为厚、巨厚灰岩,白元质灰岩,溶蚀严重,为确保坝基稳健及渗漏稳定采用一系列处理措施,以确保了工程的安全运行。
