Objective To understand the current situation of the quality of life of community health workers and to explore the influencing factors. Methods The community health workers in Futian District of Shenzhen City were randomized to evaluate their quality of life by WHOQOL-BREF. Results 460 community health workers had higher scores in social field than those in the general population, and scores in physical, psychological and environmental fields were lower than those in the general population. Hotelling T2 test and multivariate analysis of variance showed that there were no significant differences in physical, psychological, social, environmental factors such as gender, education, marriage, job title, length of service, job, monthly average income, work preparation, smoking, drinking, There were significant differences in the scores of each field (P <0.05). Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that monthly average income, length of service, sleeping time and eating patterns, physical exercise were the influencing factors of community health workers self-rating scores.
