1菊花 5～7月扦插或11～12月采脚芽繁殖。菊花适应性强,易栽培管理。花期长且花色品种多。药用①鲜花叶适量捣敷,根、茎煎水服可治疮;②菊花、桑叶各20克,加连翘、薄荷各10克,煎水服治感冒风热头痛;③菊花和银花相配能治高血压、动脉硬化;④菊花与石决明、生地、白芍、龙胆草煎水服,可治肝阳上亢引起的头晕、头痛、耳聋、目赤等。
