大西客运专线是我国第一条坡道超过20‰,建设有连续30‰坡道8447米特殊线路区段的高速铁路。在大西客运专线联调联试和试运行期间,太原铁路局机务处组织了“大西客专太原南至永济北间机务安全行车的研究”课题小组。课题组针对限速运行开展动车组限速运行通过分相能力研究,得出处于18‰上坡道K462电分相,限速80km/h能够自动过分相,限速70km/h不能自动过分相必须手动过分相的结论;得出处于8‰和24‰组合上坡道K280电分相,限速80km/h能够自动过分相,限速70km/h能够自动过分相,限速70km/h不能自动过分相必须手动过分相的结论。为大西客运专线正式投入运行制定机务行车规章制度,提供了可靠的依据。
