In practice, the process data is the most important.We need to manage the data with the certain format in both Online and Offline. Wincc V6 is powerful HMI system. With it,we configure the interface and archive the process data. Due to the archives in Wincc V6 are compressed and not stored in the main memory, so we must export them. With version 6, Wincc offers the design environment of Visual Basic Script(VBS). Use VBS, we can change the data format to certain format easily.This paper offers a solution to export data of archives into Excel.
