第三届全球智能控制与自动化大会(WCICA 2000)于2000年6月30日在安徽合肥召开。在此之前,国内已为之作了大量的准备工作。浙江科学技术出版社出版的《智能自动化丛书》就是这些准备工作之一。该丛书从1995年第一本开始,至1999年已全部出齐,已获得了图书界的最高奖项,即第四届国家图书奖、1999年“全国优秀科技图书奖”暨“科技进步奖(科技著作)”一等奖。这套丛书的名誉主编是中国科学院院士、中国工程院院士宋健教授,主编是中国科学院院士、中国自动化学会理事长戴汝为教授。该丛书一共有六本,包括《智能系统的综合集成》(戴汝为、王珏、田捷,1995.12)、《开放的复杂巨系统》(王寿云、于景元、戴汝为、汪成为、钱学敏、涂元季,1996.12)、《人工神经网络理论与应用》(张铃、张钹,1997.5)、《智能控制导论》(罗公亮、秦世引,1997.12)、《智能信息处理和智能控制》(清华大学自动化系,边肇祺、郑大钟、阎平凡、张贤达、李衍达、荣钢、张长水、张霖、慕春棣、刘中仁,1998.12)、《汉字识别的系统与集成》(戴汝为、郝红卫、肖旭红,1998.12)。 The 3rd Global Conference on Intelligent Control and Automation (WCICA 2000) was held on June 30, 2000 in Hefei, Anhui Province. Prior to this, a lot of preparatory work has been done in China for this purpose. Zhejiang Science and Technology Press published “Intelligent Automation Series” is one of these preparatory work. The series from the first in 1995 to 1999 have been all together, has won the highest award in the book industry, the Fourth National Book Award, 1999 “National Outstanding Science and Technology Award ” and “Science and Technology Progress Award (science and technology works) ”first prize. Honorary editor of this series is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering Professor Song Jian, editor in chief of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Society of Automation, Professor Dai Ruwei. There are six books in this series, including Integrated Intelligence System (Dai Ruwei, Wang Jue, Tian Jie, 1995.12), Open and Complex Giant System (Wang Shouyun, Yu Jingyuan, Dai Ruwei, Wang Chengwei, Qian Xue Min, Tu Yuan Ji, 1996.12), “Theory and Application of Artificial Neural Networks” (Zhang Ling, Zhang Bo, 1997.5), Introduction to Intelligent Control (Luo Gongliang, Qin Shih-Yin, 1997.12), “Intelligent Information Processing and Intelligent Control” (Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, Bianzhao Qi, Zheng Dazhong, Yan Pingfan, Zhang Xianda, Li Yanda, Rong Gang, Zhang Changshui, Zhang Lin, Mu Chundi and Liu Zhongren, 1998.12), Systems and Integration of Chinese Character Recognition (Dai Ruwei, Hao Hongwei, Xiao Xuhong, 1998.12).
