超高强度钢D6AC由于强度高,8_b=1.9~2.1GPa,韧性大,在调质状态下硬度为HRC47~52,故属于难加工材料。D6AC超高强度钢在调质状态下(HRC47~52)进行钻孔,采用一般的标准是无法加工的,应采用超硬高速钢Co5Si或501作钻头;在钻头几何角度及结构上应使其具有强度高、刚性好的特性;在切削用量方面,应采用低速小进给。并且在硬度为HRC50的D6AC超高强度钢上钻孔试验,达到了较好的切削效果。
