The founding of the People’s Republic of China marks the realization of the goal of China’s new-democratic revolution. Since then, the Chinese people have been fighting for the establishment of a socialist system in the vast land of China. In the process, the party and Mao Zedong put forward a unique theory of transforming from new democratization to socialism based on Marxist-Leninist thinking on the transitional period and on the basis of dialectical thinking on the future development of the Chinese revolution.
