OBJECTIVE To evaluate the radiation protection of PET-CT sites by monitoring the radioactive levels in a hospital PET-CT center and monitoring the radiation dose of personal radiation workers. Methods The on-site monitoring of air-absorbed dose rates and β-surface contamination levels by X-γ radiation was conducted, and the annual effective dose of different types of workers for six years was analyzed. Results The maximum absorbed dose rate of X-γ radiation in the center of PET-CT was 40 000 nGy / h and the monitoring result of β surface contamination was 0.02 ~ 6.9 Bq / cm ~ 2. The results of the monitoring met the requirements of relevant standards, The per capita effective dose of injecting workers was basically above 1 mSv, slightly higher than other types of workers. Conclusion The PET-CT center radiation protection basically meet the requirements, and further measures should be taken to reduce the risk of exposure.
