Michael Faraday (1791-1867) was one of the best British physicists in the 19th century. He was born in a small village on the outskirts of London. His father, a blacksmith, was in a poor family. Faraday had only attended primary school at the age of 7 to 9 and only received a little bit of reading, writing and enlightenment education. At age 5, Faraday moved to London to settle in the family. In 1804, Faraday, 13, entered a store selling books and staples, where he worked for eight years. At first it was a newspaperboy, and later an apprentice bookbinding. This work had a huge impact on his life. With access to a large number of books, Faraday read a lot of scientific books and obtained extensive scientific knowledge. Faraday said: "Two of these books are especially helpful to me. One is the Encyclopedia Britannica.
