蠡县自1992年开始大面积推广地膜棉种植,产量稳步提高。到1995年连续四年累计推广地膜棉达1826.7hm~2,占全县四年累计总播种面积的6.9％,平均每公顷皮棉1323kg,高产地块每公顷平均产皮棉1954.5kg。比不盖膜的每公顷增产皮棉307.5kg,总增产56.2kg皮棉,纯经济收入达449.4万元。其科学管理的高产栽培技术有以下四点。
