近年来有关栽培玉米起源问题已有许多报道。涉及糯质玉米起源问题的大致有两种不同意见:一是认为中国栽培的糯质玉米并非起源于中国,而是美洲栽培玉米引入中国后经过单基因突变(Wx变为wx)而产生的,这在美国也同样发生了单基因突变,且得到了籽粒为马齿型的糯质玉米;另一种意见则认为中国糯质玉米很可能就是中国起源的。但是限于试验材料及证据不足,糯质玉米起源的问题至今仍没有得到解决。1970年,我们从云南省西双版纳傣族自治州勐海县一带征集到一种农家糯质玉米品种勐海四路糯(以下简称为四路糯),它具有一系列玉米原始性状,我们对此作了较详细的观察和分析,现将所得结果报告于后。
In recent years, there have been many reports on the origin of cultivated corn. There are basically two different opinions concerning the origin of waxy maize. In 1970, we collected a kind of farmyard waxy corn variety Menghai No.4 Waxy from Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, which has a series of original corn traits. We made a A more detailed observation and analysis, the results obtained are reported later.
