In the 20th century 100 years, the most idioms used to describe Chinese characteristics are: a long history, a large population, vast territory. As we enter the new century, we have gained a deeper understanding of these three idioms: a long history is proud but we can not therefore carry a “glorious history burden”; and “a large population” was established as early as 20 years ago Is widely regarded as unable to serve as an example of self-righteousness, and family planning work has risen to the height of the national policy. The joy of “land and abundant resources” has in recent years been overshadowed by the rational doubts of many scientists in their research results. Need to be seriously discussed.
