卫星网络的长时延、高误码率特性使TCP的性能受到极大影响,文中利用性能增强代理(Performance Enhancing Proxies,PEP)的理论模型,提出了由有线网络、PEP和卫星网络构成的具有传输控制功能的异构网络体系结构。文中介绍了该体系结构在NS2中的建立过程,并通过大量的仿真实验验证了该体系结构的正确性及对卫星网络中TCP传输性能的改善。
The long delay and high bit error rate (BER) characteristics of satellite networks greatly affect the performance of TCP. In this paper, a theoretical model of Performance Enhancing Proxies (PEP) is proposed, which is composed of wired networks, PEPs and satellite networks. In this paper, the establishment process of this architecture in NS2 is introduced, and the correctness of the architecture and the improvement of TCP transmission performance in satellite networks are verified through a large number of simulation experiments.
