Understand and grasp the core of mathematical concepts is to grasp the concept of the essence, not just grasp the conceptual form, description of the definition. It is very important for the teacher to grasp the essence of the mathematical concept. The types and levels of concepts involved in elementary mathematics are not the same. Generally speaking, “the essence of mathematical concepts” is neither clear nor meaningful.
