This essay analyzes the global changes that have taken place in distance learning, including organizational structure (distance education and distance training), project structure (from independent learning to collaborative learning) and the global learning community (from ivory tower to learning form integration) Development and diversity of distance learning. The article proposes a case of holistic planning, discusses the management rules of distance learning orientation in organizational management decision-making, the application of technology in teaching, the cost, the workload of teachers, the status of distance learning, and the problems of quality assessment and appraisal.
