生态女性主义是20世纪70年代西方妇女解放运动和生态环境保护运动合流的产物,强调女性问题和当代最紧迫的环境问题在文化意识形态、政治统治结构、主流价值观念等更深刻层面上的勾连性、同一性和共源性特征。在女性主义理论和生态哲学的基础上,“生态女性主义促使女性主义重新思考女性的概念以及生态学术语中的人类概念,尊重非人类的差异,将女性的包容性理论化,而且意识到人类与非人类自然的延续性[1]”。
