Researchers at Zhejiang University’s School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering have developed a new shape memory plastic that can “implant ” complex shape memory, deformation can be achieved when exposed to heat. Shape memory plastic is a kind of smart material that can fix temporary shape and return to its original shape under external stimuli. It has broad application prospects in the fields of flexible electronics, biomedicine, aviation and aerospace.
