就象川戏和川菜,绵竹年画也是巴蜀文化的重要构成。绵竹年画并非单指绵竹的年画,而是一个浓缩时空的文化符号,影响到文人画、戏剧、雕塑、甚至民风民俗——尽管人们往往只看到后者对它的影响;如今只说绵竹年画,因为早年四川夹江、梁平、成都、简阳等地的年画已杳然难寻;而绵竹年画在吸收融合了各地年画风格的基础上形成了自己的特色,影响巴蜀,遍及西南,远播越南、柬埔寨、泰国等国。
Like Sichuan opera and Sichuan cuisine, Mianzhu New Year paintings are also an important part of Bashu culture. Mianzhu New Year Picture is not just a New Year’s picture of Mianzhu, but a cultural symbol of concentration of time and space, affecting the literati painting, drama, sculpture, and even folk customs - although people tend to see only the latter impact on it; now only say Mianzhu New Year Because early New Year pictures of Jiajiang, Liangping, Chengdu, and Jianyang in Sichuan Province have been extremely hard to find. Mianzhu New Year Pictures, on the basis of assimilating New Year’s paintings of different places, formed its own unique features that affected Bashu, spread across the Southwest, Cambodia, Thailand and other countries.
