林业机械是为林业生产服务的,是实现林业现代化的重要手段之一。我国森林覆被率极低,仅为12.7％,新疆覆被率更低只有1％,而世界平均覆被率为22％。林业不仅可以提供经济建设和人民生活所必须的木材及林副产品,森林可以涵养水源,调节气候、保持水土、防风固沙改善生态环境等等。因此,保护绿色植被、大力种树种草,扩大造林面积是当前的紧迫任务。但植树造林是一项艰巨的工作,需要大量的人力、物力,为了加速造林步伐,亟需进行机械化造林,用机械代替一部分落后艰苦的手工劳动,使林业发展得更快一点、更好一点。
Forestry machinery serves forestry production and is one of the important means to realize forestry modernization. China’s forest cover rate is extremely low, only 12.7%, while the coverage rate in Xinjiang is only 1% lower, while the world average coverage rate is 22%. Forestry can not only provide the timber and forest by-products necessary for economic construction and people’s livelihood, but also can conserve water sources, regulate the climate, maintain soil and water, stabilize the wind and sand, and improve the ecological environment. Therefore, it is an urgent task to protect green vegetation, vigorously plant tree species and expand afforestation area. However, afforestation is a daunting task and requires a lot of manpower and material resources. In order to accelerate the pace of afforestation, it is urgent to carry out mechanized afforestation and replace some of the backward and hard manual labor with machinery so that forestry can develop faster and better.
