从某种意义上讲,军事意味着战争,而战争对环境的破坏是显而易见的。但并不是每个人都这样看,少数人甚至认为军事是解决生态危机的一种手段。人们不禁要问,战争双方对峙,捣毁敌方资源;或为了赢得战争主动权,疯狂喷洒除莠剂,抑制植物的生产、扼杀农林业;或以人工降雨而进行气象战。这一桩桩难道不是一场疯狂的环境战吗?越南战争、柬埔寨战争、海湾战争等等,难道不是一场场毁灭大自然
In a sense, the military means war, and the destruction of the environment by the war is obvious. But not everyone sees it this way. A few even think that the military is a means of resolving the ecological crisis. People can not help but ask: both sides of the war confront each other and disrupt enemy resources; or in order to win the war initiative, wild spraying of herbicides, suppression of plant production, strangulation of agriculture and forestry, or meteorological warfare with artificial rainfall. Is this not a crazy environmental war? Vietnam war, the Cambodian war, the Gulf war, etc., is not a field destruction of nature
