东风4型内燃机车用16V240ZB型柴油机的机体,采用铸钢主轴承座和钢板焊接的组合结构。六年来,我厂共铸造16V240ZA型和16V240ZB型柴油机用整体铸钢主轴承座近700台。早期产品的焊修工作量大、废品较多,在运用过程中产生裂纹。经过多年反复实践,摸索了一些规律,在改进铸件结构和铸造工艺后,尤其是1980年以来,16V240ZB型柴油机主轴承座的铸造质量已日趋稳定。一、主轴承座的结构特点和技术要求整体铸钢主轴承座为箱形结构,形状复杂,铸件的壁厚不匀、变化大(20~122毫米),热节多。根据设计技术条件,对铸造主轴承座的要求有:
