温家宝爷爷是天津人,父母是中、小学教师,小时家境贫困。一家五口,挤住在只有21平方米的小平房里。他十分用功,邻居们说他:“聪明,知道用功。功课好,懂礼貌,做事稳稳当当。”1968年,温家宝从北京地质学院结业,以优秀的研究生,分配到甘肃地质力学队工作。一次遇到大暴雨,泥石流冲来,一米见方的大石头都被卷走。温家宝在统一指挥下,沉着应战,迅速拆除帐篷,装到骆驼身上,在泥石流到来前,他全身泥水地和同志们一起转移到安全地带。 Grandpa Wen Jiabao is a native of Tianjin.
