OBJECTIVE: To observe the histological changes and the expression of hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) in renal tissue of early stage of kidney injury and explore the significance and significance of HGF expression in early stage of renal injury. Methods: Thirty-six New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into control group (n = 4) and trauma group (n = 32). Free weights were used to impact 32 New Zealand rabbit nephrons vertically, resulting in 62 different degrees of closed kidney injury. Tissue histological performance, for IHC staining HGF expression in the kidney tissue. Results: Compared with the control group, the expression of HGF in kidney tissue of trauma group was significantly increased (P <0.01), and the expression level of HGF was increased with the severity of renal injury (P <0.01). Conclusion: As an anti-injury factor, HGF plays an important regulatory role in the repair of renal tissues in the early stage of closed renal injury, which may be a potential target gene for the treatment of kidney injury.
