在工程和实验研究中,时常要求动态地提供连续的长周期或非周期的复杂信号。为满足这一需要,本文设计并研制了双RAM任意波形发生器(AWG)微机插卡。从直接数字频率合成出发,介绍了该AWG插卡的总体设计,详细描述了本AWG电路的硬件实现及其特点。用普通的静态存储器构成的两个大容量双口RAM,实现了不间断输出的情况下波形的动态更换;采用直接存储器传送,波形数据更换快;ISA总线微机卡式仪器,通用性好,有丰富的软硬件支持,性能价格比高。
In engineering and experimental research, it is often required to dynamically provide continuous long or non-periodic complex signals. To meet this need, this paper designed and developed a dual-RAM Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) microcomputer card. Starting from the direct digital frequency synthesis, the overall design of the AWG card is introduced, and the hardware implementation and characteristics of the AWG circuit are described in detail.
