Objective To determine the normal pulmonary function in normal adolescents in Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Zhuji and Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, and to explore the relationship between pulmonary function and different living environment, age, height, weight and other factors. Methods Pulmonary function tests were performed on 777 healthy adolescents (418 males and 359 females) by portable pulmonary function test. The status of lung function and its changes in different regions were analyzed. Four indexes (FVC, FEV1, PEF, MMEF75 / 25) to do multiple stepwise linear regression to detect regional, age, gender, height, weight and other factors on the lung function. Results Most of the lung function indicators were higher in males than in females. Male lung function was the strongest in Shaoxing, and females had the strongest lung function in Zhoushan, while the male and females in Hangzhou were the weakest. The lung function of males increased with age to At age 26, there was still an increasing trend. Female pulmonary function peaked at about 16 years of age and then fluctuated. The results of multiple linear regression showed that FVC, FEV1, PEF and MMEF75 / 25 were positively correlated with height, age and body weight The effect of height on lung function persists, while the effects of weight and age on lung function vary depending on the indicator. Conclusions This study establishes the normal lung function and regression equation of normal adolescents in Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Zhuji and Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province for the first time. There are regional differences in the prediction of physiological functions of lung, and most of the indexes of lung function increase with advancing age. The impact of height and age on lung function can not be ignored.
