宫颈癌是一种妇科常见恶性肿瘤,位居妇科恶性肿瘤第二位,是导致女性死亡的主要疾病之一。宫颈癌的发生与许多因素有关,越来越多的调查表明,它的发生与人乳头瘤病毒(HPV)的感染有着密切的关系,将近90%的宫颈癌患者发现有HPV感染,故HPV检测对宫颈癌的预防与早期诊断有着重大的意义。第二代杂交捕获法(HC2)是目前唯一获得美国食品和药品监督管理局(FDA)批准用于临床HPV DNA检测的方法,该方法为半定量法,具有高度的敏感性和重复性,其用于临床检测对预防及早期诊断宫颈癌具有较大意义。
