I. Overview High-frequency ventilation (HFV) generally refers to the lower tidal volume (V_T) and high ventilation rate of artificial ventilation. Its V_T close to the anatomical void (V_D), while the ventilation frequency of up to 60 ~ 2400 times / min (1 ~ 40HZ).
