向家坝水电站的前期勘察设计工作从1957年开始,历经数十年艰苦、细致、深入的地质勘察,从长达7.5公里坝段中的7个比较坝址中,选定目前的坝址,经过“坝址选择”、“预可研报告”、“可研报告”等阶段多次国家审查和专家评估咨询,向家坝水电站地质条件满足建坝条件。但向家坝水电站坝址地质条件因具有诸多特殊性而显得十分复杂,主要反映在以下几个方面:一是地形条件不利。坝址位于峡谷出口,河谷宽阔,河床普遍堆积厚度10至40米,最厚近80米的河流冲积的
Pre-investigation and design work of Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station Since 1957, after decades of arduous, meticulous and in-depth geological survey, the current dam site has been selected from 7 comparative dam sites in the 7.5 km dam section, After several national censuses and experts’ assessment and consultation on “Dam Site Selection”, “Pre-feasibility Study Report” and “Feasibility Study Report”, the geological conditions of Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station are satisfied with the dam construction conditions. However, the geologic conditions of Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station damsite are very complicated because of their particularities, which are mainly reflected in the following aspects: First, the terrain conditions are unfavorable.
