介绍HFC网络设备管理系统的MAC层协议原理及实现。此MAC层协议主要是针对前端控制器(HE)与Ⅰ类应答器(NE)之间的通信协议,该协议支持在HFC网络的上、下行射频(RF)信道内进行基于“问答式”的消息交换,能进行多种类型网络协议PDU的传送(包括基于串行协议的IP包和SNMP包),以前端控制器(HE)为中心来管理应答器(NE)的方式,有效地利用了HFC网络上、下行RF信道的频谱资源。
Introduces the principle and implementation of MAC layer protocol of HFC network equipment management system. This MAC layer protocol is mainly aimed at the communication protocol between the front-end controller (HE) and the type I transponder (NE). The protocol supports “QA” based on the uplink and downlink radio frequency (RF) channels of the HFC network Message exchange, transmission of various types of network protocol PDUs (including IP packets and SNMP packets based on a serial protocol), management of transponders (NEs) with a front end controller (HE) as a center, and effective utilization of HFC network, downlink RF channel spectrum resources.
